Sigma Nursing announces 2022 Healthy Work Environment Award recipients

INDIANAPOLIS—Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) has announced the clinical and academic honorees for the 2022 Healthy Work Environment Award. The academic honoree is Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The clinical honoree is Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA.

The Healthy Work Environment Award honorees will be recognized during Sigma’s Creating Healthy Work Environments event, which will be held in Washington, DC, USA, 24–26 March 2022. The representatives of each honoree will present plenary sessions on Friday, 25 March. Susan Andrews, DNP RN, CNE, CPN, and Brittany Haskell, DNP, PMHNP-BC, MA, CNE, will present “Enriching a Healthy Nursing Academic Work Environment” and Roxanne Gadberry, MSN, RN, CMSRN, will present “Communication Highway: Elevating the Voice of the Nurse.”

Sigma’s Healthy Work Environment Awards recognize and honor clinical facilities and academic settings that have demonstrated commitment in promoting a healthy work environment and have demonstrated excellence in healthcare outcomes.
