It's Ok Not to Be Ok: Mental Health is Health!
Published on 31 August 2021
Examines the pre-pandemic levels of burnout, and the impact it has had on nursing during the pandemic.
Almost 17 months into the pandemic, our mental health is not getting better. Throughout COVID-19, nurses have been there for patients’ best days, worst days and all the days in-between. Who will be there for us? How do we ensure that our needs are being taken care of? It's time to take some of the power back into our own hands and advocate for the mental health supports we actually need. In this presentation we examine the pre-pandemic levels of burnout, and the impact it has had on nursing during the pandemic. We also explore options for how you can best advocate for better mental health support for yourself and your nursing community.
This webinar is a part of Sigma's Casualties of Caring: Nurse Suicide Awareness Series.
